Using our
Vinyl Sign Cutting machine for making vinyl letters and other art
is another Desert Publishing ability. Vinyl art is used in a wide
variety of applications. Magnetic signs for automobiles, roadside
signs, business doorway signs, and other types of signs are possible.
Our machine
is also a plotter, allowing us to draw designs on 24 inch wide roles
of paper for other work as well. We just completed a job recently
of drawing a pattern on paper and gluing that to a corrugated board
and cutting it out as a pattern for a mold. For those that have
a need to make large templates like that, we can provide that service
as well.
Large paper
banners can also be drawn in line art for placing behind glass windows
as a pattern for painting on glass for stores and other buildings.
We have no
boundaries for creating art for our machine to cut or draw for us.
Vinyl comes
in many bright colors and fantastic patterns. Metallic, florescent,
holographic, camouflage, diamond plate, and Florentine, are only
a few types of vinyl that can be cut in about any font or shape.
Depending
on the use, and the shape the vinyl has to conform to, it has to
be either cast or calendared for a particular use. Cast is preferred
for going over uneven surfaces. Some vinyl's are made for different
uses, so we would need to determine what your end needs are to decide
on the right product to use for your project.
